We can talk through what you have going on & it will give you a chance to get to know me a bit too. It is a no pressure conversation. However, if you are ready to book a one on one consultation, this is what it will look like. In a one on one consultation (follow up and initial), you will have the opportunity to discuss your pelvic health needs and receive understanding in how to proceed. This can cover a variety of topics like pelvic pain (which can be associated with back and/or hip pain), pain with intercourse (or with use of tampons or menstrual cups), prolapse issues, childbirth prep, pregnancy aches and pains, returning to exercise postpartum, postpartum recovery, issues with resolving “ab separation,” peeing yourself when you laugh/ jump/ etc, inability to hold in gas/ poop, issues from menopause, etc.
When you schedule an initial one on one consultation, you will fill out a form describing your history and current issues/ questions. This form will help give Aileen an idea of what you are wanting to talk about during your initial consultation. For a follow up visit, no form is required. During your consultation, you will have the time to share as much as you feel comfortable sharing and ask questions about whatever issue you have going on, within our scheduled time limit. Aileen may ask for further clarification. Then she will provide education and/or exercise ideas to help with your issues. If the consultation time was not enough to cover everything, Aileen may suggest scheduling a follow up visit. Sometimes it may also make sense to schedule a follow up to check back in on how your issues are progressing in a couple weeks or even a couple months. Aileen may suggest other people or organizations to follow up with as well. All things discussed during a one on one consultation will be kept private and not discussed with others without consent.
